Extracting skill is basic
Most quests from here on are going to be located in Akarios Village and beyond, so its a good idea to bind yourself there (to bind yourself just go to the Obelisk in the village follow the instruction, however you do need some Mabinogi Gold to make this work. If you dont have enough come back when you do.) Once you have bind to the village do the following: While you doing A New Skill, it is a good time to purchase your level 3 and your level 5 skill books from your trainer, you should have acquire enough kineh to do so.
The Mabinogi online gold gathering skill or also know as extracting skill is basic to every class and both factions, everyone starts with it. The gathering/extracting skill is not profession specific, with one skill you can gather apples, herbs, and metals. The way that the system is setup can be good or bad, its good because makes everything simple , one skill does all. Its bad because you cant focus on gathering the materials you want and not only do you get a whole bunch of other junk that you probably dont need for the crafting profession of your choice, and with everyone being able to gather the same stuff you cant really sell them very well.
