Trion Worlds and the Rift development team have announced a new 'Ascend a Friend' that begins with free seven day trial codes for friends of current players. If a recruit ends up purchasing the game, players receive in-game rewards in the form of a "Courage" pet for one buyer, a fancy hat for two or a flame-wreathed mount for three.
