The TERA Online site has been updated with new screens and information about the game's centaurs. The fey forest dwellers are four-footed warriors proficient with spears and a deadly hoof attack. The protectors of nature are currently allied with those in an uprising against loggers.
Centaurs attack with spears and hooves, with the hoof attack being the more powerful of the two. If attacked from range, they will close the distance between them and their foe, at which time they're vulnerable to attack without the ability to retaliate until they get within three meters.
The centaur will rear up slightly just before performing either attack, but as very little time elapses between the two, the wise fighter will always work to stay out of hoof and spear range, and take advantage of the centaur's occasional retreat for help to attack them from behind.
